2.3.2 Characteristic curve of the system
To find the operating point of the team, we need to find operating point of the system or the operating point of the installation.
The operating point of the equipment is made from pressure losses that occur in the pipes when a specific volumetric flow circulates. Therefore, the number of revolutions (ω) varies and consequently, the flow.
You must re-use the expression used in the previous section to find the height:

When we obtained all the calculations, we obtain the characteristic curve that relates the high with the volumetric flow . This presents an ascending trend, increasing the height (y-axis) as was increasing the flow (x-abscissas).
